Wycliffe Ouma is a Project Manager with more than ten (10) years’ experience in Eastern Africa. He seeks to improve the performance of work teams, projects and organizations. His premise for work is embedded on the belief that organizations need to be “learning organizations”, constantly modifying to succeed in the ever changing environment within which they exist. This philosophy enables an approach that improves organizational performance through planned interventions and training experiences. Additionally, he has an excellent blend of organizational development and people management and did play those roles in coordination of civil society organizations funded by FANIKISHA Institutional Strengthening Project.
In his career, Mr. Ouma has worked for various agencies in diverse capacities mainly in non-governmental organizations sector. Prior to joining ICS, he worked in the health sector where he coordinated programmes and raised resources for organizational sustainability. At MSH, he was involved in the coordination of ten organizations and provision of technical assistance in corporate governance, organizational development and resource mobilization for all the implementing partners in the FANIKISHA Institutional Strengthening Project. Currently, he is guiding Vijana Reloaded (youth empowerment) and water projects at ICS where he is very instrumental in youth workforce development, resource mobilization and partnership building and relations.
He holds a bachelor of Education (Science) from the Kenyatta University and is currently finalizing post-graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nairobi. He is also a certified professional trainer/facilitator with Institute of Human Resources Management with an excellent understanding of Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) methodology.
